Du-Net network

Temporary seismic network Du-Net (DN), which consists of high-sensitivity broadband seismographs, has been established within the HRZZ research project DuFAULT. In the first year of the project (2021), four stations have been installed: two in Croatia (DF04 and DF05) and two in Bosnia and Herzegovina (DF01 and DF02). In the year 2022, another station (DF03) has been installed in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the year 2023, another station (DF06) has been installed in Croatia. Besides the mentioned stations, Du-Net includes station STON which has been established earlier for the needs of other scientific research projects. Other local temporary and permanent seismic stations, which are part of the Croatian Seismograph Network (CSN), temporary network of the project CRONOS (9H) and other networks of the neighboring countries (Institute of Hydrometeorology and Seismology of Montenegro, Montenegrin Seismic Network (ME); the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute of Republika Srpska, Republika Srpska Seismological Network (WS); Swiss Contribution to AdriaArray Temporary Network, ETH, Zurich (Y5)) are also used for the needs of the project. The Croatian Seismograph Network is operated by the Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb (jointly by the Andrija Mohorovičić Geophysical Institute and the Seismological Survey.Map (top) and table (bottom) of the stations covered by the research area of the HRZZ project DuFAULT. Besides shown stations, all available data from the listed seismological networks is used within the project.
